Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Script Basketball platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a school, team, or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these terms.

2. Subscriptions & Payment

Annual License: The Service is sold as an annual subscription per "Team" or "Program." One subscription covers the Head Coach and up to 5 additional staff members.

Refund Policy (30-Day Guarantee)

We want you to be 100% satisfied. If you are unhappy with the Service for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase date—no questions asked.

After 30 Days:

Requests made after 30 days are not eligible for a refund. However, you will retain full access to the Service for the remainder of your paid annual term. We do not offer prorated refunds for early cancellation.

3. Data Ownership (The "Program Asset" Rule)

To protect the continuity of high school and collegiate programs, you agree to the following ownership structure:

  • Program Data: Any practice plans, drill libraries, diagrams, and video collections created within a Team account are considered the property of the Program/School, not the individual user.
  • Coach Departure: If a coach (including an Assistant Coach) leaves the program, they may not delete, sabotage, or withhold Program Data. The Program Owner (Head Coach/Admin) retains the right to manage access to this data.

4. User-Generated Content & Video

You retain the rights to any video or text content you upload. However, you grant Script a license to host, encode, and display this content for the purpose of providing the Service.

Prohibited Content: You may not upload content that violates third-party copyrights (e.g., unauthorized broadcast footage), contains nudity/violence, or violates student privacy laws.

5. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "AS IS." Script Basketball is not liable for any data loss, practice disruptions, or indirect damages arising from your use of the software. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the last 12 months.
